Sometimes, when you are messed up, all that you need is a good old flat tyre, that compels you to sit and pointlessly stare at all the stuff that's going on around while getting the tyre fixed. This flat tyre is indeed an escape from whatever else is going on in your life.It may sound strange but ,this pointless stare is actually not that blunt as it seems to be at the time when it actually happens. It's sharpness is way too under-rated.However, the stare does only one thing. It makes you think.
As there is nothing else to do, you start thinking along the lines, over the lines and around them too. Then all of a sudden when you are not even aware of it, the thinking turns to over-thinking. So, now you start over thinking on some stuff, which probably is not such a strange behaviour at all.Everyone does over react sometimes, its only human to do so.
The struggle starts when the third phase is entered, when you start thinking over over-thinking. This stage is reached when there is nothing left to think about. So basically, the mind is out of thoughts, but thinking something at the same time, the situation similar to the Schrödinger's cat. This is exactly when most of your inner fears start to surface up, because of the agitation of the thoughts inside the mind, just as it's said about fear, it's all in the "mind".... Its us who define the parameters for our fright and worries.
This recursive procedure of thinking becomes fatal for inner peace, as soon as the third phase begins. Surviving this phase can be easy if you skip to really think over over thinking and proceed to the fourth and final stage, which is the threshold of something productive which is about to come.
This phase of over-thinking over over-thinking. This stage may make you restless, make you go insane and you may feel the need to override this whole process, but the end product that comes out of this process, howsoever ironic it may sound, is actually Inner peace and enlightenment. The enlightenment is all about the realisation that too much of stuff is going on around us, about which we don't know much. Its rather about absolution. An absolution that is just some food for thought, rather thoughts that keep coming your way. Its just this enlightenment that freshens you up, and makes all the messes go away from the mind frame. This voyage through the depths of the mind is the sole thing making you realise all that you are, and all that you can....
And then all of a sudden, the tyre gets fixed too and all thoughts of absolution vanish away....
What leaves is the mess from the head and what remains is a fresh mind, ready to face all thats thrown at it....
Well that's enough of thinking over over-thinking for one time I guess :P ....
Feedbacks welcome as always...
